South County Juniors Tournament Schedule

  You will need an active AVP America membership to sign up and play.

How to register for a South County Tournament: Registrations for our 2024 schedule will be available on www.avpamerica.com soon

1.  Make sure you have a current AVP membership - silver level or higher.

2.  Visit www.avpamerica.com and log in

3.  Use the search bars to search for South County Juniors.

4.  Locate the event and register.  Select the age division of your oldest teammate.  You can also select to play in an older age division.  Ultimately, divisions will be decided on by the TD.

5.  You should add your partner in the same registration.  If you cant locate your partners membership, add both players names in your team name.  If you don't have a partner, leave blank and a partner will be assigned for you.

6.  If for some reason, you are having trouble registering on www.avpamerica.com, you can email us to reserve your spot in the event.  Include both players names, current ages, the date of the event.  Email here to reserve your spot in grass tournament.

​South County Volleyball Tournaments

We will be hosting 5-6 grass 2 on 2 tournaments this summer in South County RI.  

These dates and location are currently tentative as we work to confirm with the town of SK that the fields are available these dates and locations.

-Grass Tournament #1   Sunday June 8th - Season Kickoff   12:00pm-4:30pm $20.00 per player.  Format = 2 on 2 boys and girls divisions.  Sign up with a partner or we can assign a partner for you.   Location is Crandall Field in Ashaway, RI

-Grass Tournament #2   Saturday July 6th - Red, White, SC Blue.   9:00am-2:00pm  $20 per player.  Format = 2 on 2 Boys and Girls.  Sign up with a partner or we can assign a partner for you.  Broad Rock Middle School in SK, RI

​-Grass Tournament #3   Friday July 12th- PARENT/CHILD EVENT  3:30-7:30pm $20 per player.  Format = 2 on 2 with teams consisting of 1 adult and 1 juniors player.  Broad Rock Middle School in SK, RI.  3:30 start.  Check in by 3:00

-Grass Tournament #4  Friday July 26th- NCAA STYLE GRASS EVENT. This event has been a favorite for both our players and coaches.  Format = players sign up as individuals and will be assigned to a coach and a team of approx 10 players.  Players will compete in 2 on 2 matches with different players from their team of 10.  Broad Rock Middle School in SK, RI.  4:00pm am start.  Check in by 3:30.

-Grass Tournament #5  Saturday August 3rd - END OF SEASON BASH.  9:00am-2:00pm  $20 per player.  2 on 2 divisions.  Cookout food/snacks provided.  Season awards presentation.  Location is Broad Rock Middle School in SK.

2 on 2  - These events require you sign up with a partner.  You are allowed to enter in the age group of the oldest member of your team, or older.   Teams compete together through pool play and playoffs.

King/Queen of the Court - This event has players sign up as individuals.  Players will be assigned different partners throughout the tournament.  The players with the most individual wins will advance to the playoffs.

Parent/Child - This has been a really enjoyable event over the last two summers.  Players 18 and younger get to choose their favorite parent or another adult relative to team up with.  Games are played on women's height nets and males 15 and older attack from behind the 10' line.

NCAA Style event - This event is modeled after the NCAA women's sand tournament format.  Players sign up as individuals and will be selected to a team of approx. 10 players.  Players will play with different members of their team throughout the tournament.  Games are played on women's height nets and males 15 and older attack from behind the 10' line.  This format is a big hit with players and coaches!  Don't want to miss this one this summer.

SOUTH COUNTY SAND TOURNAMENT - This was another highlight of last summer, as we attracted many top teams in New England to show up and compete in this event.  Divisions will be determined by the TD to offer a fun and challenging day for all teams.  Saturday July 14th will offer Girls 12U, 14U, 16U, 18U divisions.  Sunday July 15th will offer Boys 14U, 16U, 18U as well as Girls 16U Advanced and Girls 18U Advanced.  The Advanced divisions are for players that have been invited to participate or would like the challenge of a tough field of teams.  We may combine these divisions with our adult divisions to offer the best level of play for these teams.  Please reach out if you would like to play or need more info.

2 on 2 Club or High School Championships - Another 2 on 2 tournament where you are representing your Club, high school or middle school.  Teams compete throughout the event to earn points for their club or school.  Past winners include North Kingstown High School(boys and girls), Bishop Hendricken High School(boys), Lyman Memorial HS(girls).

Sponsors can donate $$ or tournament prizes.  We will acknowledge our sponsors at the events and on our website.  Sponsors may also provide signage or vendor booths at the events.
